If you ever wanted to write a book, this is the place for it. Our lush setting is secluded, out of sight of any neighbors. We are located across the road from a 30-acre untouched wilderness owned by the Don Ho family.
Although we have privacy, we also have so many island activities just minutes away. We are only five minutes from Lydgate Park, the safest beach on Kauai; shopping and restaurants; golf courses; Hawaiian cultural ruins; the Wailua river for canoeing; tropical waterfalls; Sleeping Giant mountain for hiking; weekend Kauai crafts fair; and much more.

The Kauai Orchid Cottage is a Hawaiian plantation house nestled on an acre and a half of lush tropical garden and accented with colorful orchids, tropical plants and exotic birds. You are invited to share the tropical fruits from our trees.
The cottage includes one bedroom, with a queen size bed; one huge full bath, including tub and shower; a refrigerator and food-prep area; and a living room. The newly renovated guest quarters are in the downstairs portion of the main house. The cottage has its own separate entrance.

The Kauai Orchid Cottage is a great alternative to a hotel, condo, bed and breakfast, or other ordinary accommodations.
We also own Orchid Alley, an orchid retail store and exporter located in historic Kapa'a Town. Residents of the Kauai Orchid Cottage enjoy discounts on purchases from Orchid Alley.
